MEET OUR LEADERSHIP

Scott Cardin - Lead Pastor

Pastor Scott has served as the Lead Pastor of Englewood Church of God for over 20 years. He has served in many areas of the church; including youth ministry, and has sat on both the State Youth Board and on the State Council. Scott is married to his wife Lea, and they have a daughter, Mattie. 

Dylan Lawson - Associate Pastor

Dylan serves as the Associate Pastor here at Englewood Church of God. Before becoming the Associate Pastor, Dylan served in youth ministry for 6 years. He received a B.S. in Ministry Leadership with an emphasis in Youth Ministry from Lee University. Dylan is married to his wife Olivia. They have two girls, Evelyn and Emily. 

Connie Summey - Children’s Pastor

Connie serves as our Children's Pastor here at Englewood Church of God. She has served in this position for several years and does ministry with passion. Connie is married to her husband Doug, and they have two sons. 

Denise Sloan - Worship Pastor

Denise serves as our Worship Pastor here at Englewood Church of God. She and her husband Greg have served at Englewood for over 10 years, and have three children. Denise loves creating an atmosphere of praise and worship where the Holy Spirit is welcome! 

Cameron Powers
Student Pastor | Young Life Pastor

Cameron serves as our student pastor and young life pastor alongside his wife, Brooklyn. He has also helped out with worship ministry within the church for several years. He loves to watch people grow in their relationship with God and help them learn to walk in their calling.

Nathan Raper - Sound Engineer

Nathan has been part of ECOG for years. He has faithfully served our church by providing his expertise with sound and media. Nathan has served in youth ministry for 10 years and has been our sound tech for eight. He has a networking specialist diploma from TTC. He loves sports, and all things to do with the Duke Blue Devils Basketball Team. He is married to his wife Megan who serves on the youth staff.

Dotty Chastain - Church Clerk

Dotty has been a part of the ECOG family for years. She serves as our church clerk and accountant. Dotty has two sons, Evan and Jared.
